Minimum Requirements for Support Partners
- A Post-Secondary Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 Years experience working as a full-charge bookkeeper
- Experience preparing Adjusted Trial Balances and Financial Statements
- Experience with payroll (PCP or CPM designation preferred but not required)
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 / QuickBooks (other software an asset)
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, practices, tax laws and reporting requirements
- Strong secondary skills in one of the following disciplines: Marketing, IT, Web Design, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Legislative Compliance, or Administration.
Minimum Requirements for Accounting Technicians
- Formal, post-secondary education in bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a full-charge bookkeeper
- Working knowledge of either Sage 50 or QuickBooks
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, practices, tax laws and reporting requirements
- Demonstrated organizational ability and attention to detail
