You never know when you may need a helping hand!  Below you will find a list of additional services we offer that you may wish to use from time to time.  They are priced on a case-by-case basis so please contact your Support Partner for details or contact the office for more details and a customized quote.

Compliance Services

Keeping up with today’s legislative requirements can be difficult.  Based on popular demand by our clients we have decided to make our Compliance Service a permanent addition to our service offering.  For any business operating in Ontario with at least one employee you need to meet specific requirements under the following Acts:

  • The Employment Standards Act;
  • The Occupational Health and Safety Act;
  • The Workplace Safety and Insurance Act;
  • The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act; and
  • The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act

Our compliance service consists of a visit to your place of business where we will go over with you the key compliance areas under each Act listed above and identify where you are not meeting your requirements under the law.  You will receive a detailed report outlining where you are not meeting compliance and detailed steps on how to become compliant.

If you are short on time or resources to complete the compliance requirements, we can create the policies,procedures and forms for you and submit the required paperwork on your behalf for an additional fee.  This service is not designed to be all-inclusive and does not cover every Act that your company may be required to comply with but it will cover the most common ones.

Should you require assistance with compliance under other legislation, we can work with you to accomplish this.  Other Acts we have direct experience with are the Not for Profit Corporations Act, Day Nurseries Act, Residential Tenancies Act, and the Private Career Colleges Act.

Audit Assistance Services

Our team of Support Partners have extensive experience dealing with audits from numerous government agencies including the Canada Revenue Agency, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Child and Youth Services, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and many more.  If you are facing an audit request, please feel free to contact our office to have one of our Support Partners walk you through the process, ensure you have all of the paperwork assembled and ready for your audit, and we can even be present during the audit to assist you in working with your auditor/inspector.  For more information, please contact your Support Partner or call our office to speak to a representative.

Bookkeeper Hiring Services

Are you hiring a Bookkeeper? We can help you make the right selection and ensure you are hiring a team member who is responsible, ethical, and has the skills and expertise needed to accurately handle your finances.  Our service includes:

  • Creating and posting the Job Advertisement
  • Sorting and screening the candidates
  • Checking references and verifying credentials
  • Assessing their bookkeeping skills using predefined assessments
  • Performing a minimum of two interviews
  • Presenting you (our client) with the top applicants for your final selection
